The hike from Cabo de Ribeira to Pico de António offers an adventurous and scenic journey through Santo Antão, one of Cape  Verde’s most  rugged and beautiful rugged islands.

The hike begins in the small village of Cabo de Ribeira, nestled in the lush Ribeira do Paul valley. This area is known for its fertile land and diverse vegetation, providing a green and picturesque backdrop as you start your ascent.

The trail starts with a steady climb through terraced farmlands and scattered homes. You will pass by plantations of sugarcane, mango, and banana trees, offering a glimpse into the local agriculture.

you end up in Boca de Figueiral.
